After many years spent working for Fertilizer and Chemical companies, Mr Jean-Luc Bossé decided to set up his own family sized company.
Interfert was created in 1983 and is mainly focused on import/export of raw materials for the fertilizer industry.
The Chemical industry was the first supplier of the business. But aware of environmental concerns, Mr Bossé soon developed sales of sulfated raw materials for fertilizers.
From there, the range of products has increased especially in the biological agriculture sector. |

As the food and agriculture industries have very similar needs, Interfert went into the business of pet food by-products.
Continuously seeking new business niches, and thanks to its sophisticated network, Interfert welcomes a new business sector in its activity: Biomass and Cogeneration which helps in the recycling and valuation of many by-products.
The Interfert team is made-up today of 6 members including Mr. Bossé’s son, Mr Ludovic Bossé who will take over as President after his father retires. |
